The incident occurred on August 22 outside a business in Beaumont, according to Nikkie Thompson, who recorded the footage and first posted it to social media. The video was later shared widely by animal welfare groups, including the Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation – a non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue severely abused and neglected animals.
